What counts as an emergency?
Anything that has stopped you (or your business) cold. The most common emergency calls we get are:
- Office network down — staff can't work
- Ransomware locking files
- Hard drive failed and you have urgent client work
- PC won't boot the morning of an important meeting
- Lost access to your email or Microsoft 365
- Internet down at home and you're working from home
How emergency support works
Call us. We will assess the situation in 5 minutes and tell you straight whether we can fix it remotely (often within the hour) or whether we need to come on-site. We do not charge a "panic premium" — emergency rates are the same as standard rates, you just jump the queue.
After hours
Existing managed-plan customers have after-hours emergency support included. For everyone else, after-hours is best-effort — call us and we will let you know what we can do.
Before you call
If it is safe to do so:
- Do not panic — most problems are recoverable
- Do not keep restarting a failing drive — it makes recovery harder
- Do not pay any ransomware demand — call us first
- Take a photo of any error messages
- Write down what you were doing when it happened
